How we share it

We do not sell your personal information.
AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, and models reached through OpenRouter) process your messages, voice, and learning details to generate lessons and tutor replies.
Payments go through Apple and RevenueCat (in the app) or Stripe (on the web). Sign-in with Google shares your name and email with us.
Mixpanel measures how the website is used. It is never used while learning as a student profile.
Kids Web Services (an Epic Games company) verifies parents of students under 13.
These providers may use the data only to provide their service to us, and must protect it at least as well as we do.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the platform.
We may transfer data as part of a merger, acquisition, or similar business event.
We share additional information only when you give us permission.

Your choices

Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete account information.
Delete your account from Profile in the app or Settings on the web. This deletes your profile and learning data; courses or comments you published to the community stay, without your name.
Export your information where available.
Opt out of marketing communications and manage privacy preferences.

Security

Internal access to personal information is limited.

Children and student profiles

You must be at least 13 to create your own Learnzy account. Younger children use Learnzy only through a student profile created by a parent, or by a teacher with a parent's agreement. Children can't sign up themselves.

Parental consent. Before a student under 13 (or one with no age given) can use their profile, we email their parent a link from Kids Web Services to verify that they are an adult. The profile stays locked until the parent completes it. We keep a record of the parent's email and the date they verified, as proof of consent.

What we collect from a child. Their name, age or birthday, learning preferences and progress, and what they type or say to their AI tutor. We use it only to teach them: to generate lessons and tutor replies, and to show progress to the adults who manage the profile. AI providers process the child's messages and voice for this purpose only. We don't show ads, and we don't use student profiles for analytics or marketing.

Parents' rights. A parent can review their child's information and progress, ask us to change or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@learnzy.io. The adult who created the profile can also edit or delete it, with all of its data, from the student's page. Deleting the profile withdraws consent.
